The Lee MacLellan Family Story
Priscilla MacLellan Foster
Priscilla Catherine MacLellan (1922 - 2004) was born in the mid-west (Minneapolis MN) along with her two sisters, but spent most of her life in the south (Columbia SC).
One of the family mysteries was how my aunt, the oldest daughter, came to be called "Perky" and not Priscilla.
The most likely theory was that Daddy Mac was bouncing her on his knees when she was very little, and said she was his little Perky.
Priscilla was the tom-boy in the family.
Perky met her husband Bill Foster at Penn State university, and they were married on 28 Feb. 1944. They had two boys, John William Foster, Jr. ("John") and Lee MacLellan Foster.
Perky was the morning bugler at the summer camp the three sisters attended.
