Andrew Shipley Clark - GRANDSON

Andrew Shipley Clark (1963 - ) is the youngest of the grandchildren.

Andy was on the tennis and soccer teams while at Longmeadow High School (LHS), graduating in 1982. Andy received All Western Massachusetts honors in tennis, and his team went onto the Massachusetts State finals every year Andy played on the team.

After high school Andy attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York. Andy played tennis for one year at RPI, and was named "Rookie of the Year" before switching to lacrosse for three years. Andy loved the camaraderie of the lacrosse team, especially playing with his best friend; and later, best man at his wedding, Glenn "Chip" Snyder.

Andy made the Dean's List for 7 out of his 8 semesters before graduating in 1986 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Business Management. Upon graduation he worked in the consulting and Information Technology (IT) industry, starting with Anderson Consulting in Hartford CT.

Andy met his future wife Suzanne when he attended RPI. Suzanne graduated summa cum laude from neighboring Russell Sage College. They were married in 1990.

Andy doesn't remember much about his grandparents, but they knew him when he was younger.

After living in Springfield MA and Hartford CT, they settled in the seaside town of Scituate MA, on the south shore of Boston proper. They live there still.

Andy and Suzanne have three kids: Megan, Jason, and Abigail (Abby). The whole family is active in summer and winter sports, and loves to travel (the Scottish peripatetic thing?).
