Andy Clark - GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

Andy and Suzanne had three children, great children of Lee and Irma MacLellan. Megan is the oldest, followed by Jason and Abigail. They are studious, serious, loving, and have a wide variety of interests; but also a wicked sense of humor.

Megan Clark - GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER

Megan Elizabeth Clark (1992 - ) is the oldest child, and thus probably got more initial attention from her parents. I like to tease my brother Andy that we saw more videos of Megan as a child taking her bath than the other two children. In fact, after Megan I don't think we saw any more bath taking videos.

Both Megan and her sister Abby graduated from a prestigious Catholic private school: Notre Dame Academy. Megan graduated in 2011, Abby in 2015.

Megan decided she wanted to live in a larger city with more opportunities, so she went to American University in Washington DC. She didn't just graduate in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Megan stayed in Washington after graduating, working for The Advisory Board Company/EAB for four years. She started in Marketing and then moved into Human Resource Development (HRD).

Deciding to take her life in a different direction, Megan quit her job and said goodby to Washington DC. She and her sister Abby took a cross country trip from June to August 2019. They were joined at various times by their brother Jason and cousins Jamie and Laura Clark.

After returning she moved back to Boston and worked in another HR job that didn't offer any personal fulfillment, she decided to start her own business as a Copywriter/ Content Marketing specialist, and consultant to small health and fitness organizations.

Jason Clark - GREAT GRANDSON

Jason Andrew Clark (1995 - ) is the "theatrical" child, but like his two sisters he has a variety of interests.

Jason graduated from Boston College High School (associated with Boston University) in 2013. Like his sisters, he thrived in school, graduating as a National Merit semi-finalist.

Jason went to college at Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois, the same city that his great great grandfather Lee MacLellan lived in at one point in during WW II.

Northwestern is where Jason's love of theater really blossomed. He liked being the Stage Manager, the person behind the scenes in a play, although he also wrote and directed his own original plays, one of which was shown on the Chicago stage. He graduated from Northwestern in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Theater with an emphasis in Playwrighting and Directing. Oh, and he graduated with Honors, natch.

Jason took a break from his theater studies to spend a semester abroad in India. He studied and was ordained as monk.

After working in theater, Jason found that early childhood education was really his calling. He feels that teaching preschool is the best way he can help serve the world.

One of Jason's great interests outside of work is rock climbing, both indoors and outdoors.

Abigail Clark - GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER

Abigail Shipley Clark (1997 - ) is the youngest of the three children, and as such was subject to the normal whims and caprices of being at the bottom of the totem pole.

One of my earliest memories of Abby was when she was a young towhead. We were eating inside at the Scituate Country club when the kids begged to go outside. The adults continued with their dinner until we heard a racket outside our window. The adults all filed outside to find Abby in total tears. She had been picked on by one of her siblings; who was the culprit was the mystery. She has come a long way since then.

Like her sister, Abby went to the private Notre Dame academy. After that, Abby's adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors led her across the country to the Rocky Mountains. She picked the University of Colorado Boulder to get her Bachelor of Environmental Design with an Architectural focus.

In the summer after graduation Abby came back east to serve on the crew of an Appalachian Mountain Club hut high in the White Mts. of New Hampshire. She took to it like a duck to water, and plans to return after the pandemic ends.

Abby's love of adventure and the outdoors is clearly evident in these two pictures of her in the Rockies.
